Twenty-two members of USC's Ostrow School of Dentistry, Class of 2011, were welcomed into the Zeta chapter at a banquet on May 9, 2011. In addition, Zeta chapter inducted 3 faculty members and presented 7 scholarships.

This year's faculty inductees included Drs. Jane Forrest, Robert Gerber and Abdi Samenti.
Scholarship recipients included: Hema Kishore Chapapa (John Sundbye Memorial Scholarship), Nima Mirmoghtadaei (Donald C. Curnette Memorial Scholarship), Esther Moon (Everett Payne Memorial Scholarship), Taylor Berry (Charles S. O'Grady Memorial Scholarship), Chandler Ho (Robert Wallin Memorial Scholarship), Andrew Kiss (Dexter Smith Memorial Scholarship) and Peter Byung Chan Lee (OKU-Zeta Chapter Scholarship-2nd Year).
Dean Avishai Sadan gave opening remarks, noting that induction into OKU is an "extremely unique distinction. It means that you are the top students at one of the top dental schools in the world. You are, very literally, the best of the best."
This year's keynote speaker was Stephen Sobel, retired associate professor of clinical dentistry and former Zeta chapter president, who spoke of the importance of leading by example. "In every interaction we have, we are teaching and setting examples for others. We are all teachers, all the time."
