Beta Alpha Chapter held its 2011 Annual Convocation and Banquet on May 17, 2011 at the Superstition Springs Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.  Our keynote speaker was Dr. George Blue Spruce, the nation's first Native American dentist.  Dr. Blue Spruce spoke eloquently about his life and career, with anecdotes spanning his time growing up in New Mexico through his role as Assistant Surgeon General.  Beta Alpha Chapter awarded Dr. Blue Spruce honorary OKU membership.  Our alumni inductees this year were a group of exceptional students whose achievements were highlighted throughout the program.  Their accomplishments included national research awards, significant charitable works and a World Series ring. 

The "Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence" was presented to Ms. Lindsay Godfrey.
